At UMA, each offering is thoughtfully created and often involves advance preparation, limited enrollment, reserved time, and commitments made specifically for our participants and clients. Please review the following policies carefully before completing your purchase or registration. By purchasing or registering for an UMA offering, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable refund and cancellation terms below.

Digital Offerings & On-Demand Content
Purchases of digital courses, classes, recordings, downloadable materials, and other on-demand content are non-refundable once access has been provided, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law. We encourage you to review the description and details of an offering carefully before purchasing.

Live Courses, Series & Programs
Registration for live courses, series, and group programs reserves a limited space and may prevent another participant from enrolling.
Unless otherwise stated on the registration page, payments for live programs are non-refundable once the program begins.
If you need to cancel before the program begins, please contact UMA as soon as possible. Depending on the timing and circumstances, UMA may, at its discretion, offer a credit toward a future program. Missed classes or sessions are not eligible for partial refunds. When recordings are included as part of a program, access will be provided according to the terms of that particular offering.

Workshops, Classes & Special Events
Because workshops, classes, and special events often involve advance planning and limited capacity, registration fees are generally non-refundable. If UMA allows cancellations for a particular event, the applicable cancellation period and terms will be stated at registration. If you are unable to attend, you may contact us to ask whether your registration can be transferred to another participant or credited toward a future offering. Transfers and credits are not guaranteed and are subject to UMA’s discretion.

Private Sessions & Mentorship
Private appointments require dedicated preparation and reserved time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, are charged in full and are not eligible for refund or credit, except where otherwise agreed by UMA. For multi-session mentorships, packages, or private containers, the specific payment and cancellation terms provided at enrollment or within your individual agreement will apply. Unused sessions within a package are not refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Doula & Private Perinatal Services
Doula services, birth support, private perinatal mentorship, and other individualized services involve significant advance preparation and the reservation of availability around a client’s estimated birth window. These services are governed by the payment, cancellation, travel, backup support, and refund provisions contained within the client’s individual signed agreement. Where an individual agreement exists, that agreement takes precedence over this general Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Retreats & Multi-Day Experiences
Retreats and multi-day experiences require advance commitments to venues, accommodations, instructors, meals, travel arrangements, and other providers. For this reason, retreat deposits and payments may be partially or fully non-refundable. The specific deposit, payment schedule, cancellation deadlines, transfer options, and refund terms for each retreat will be clearly communicated at registration. We strongly encourage participants to consider appropriate travel insurance for retreats that involve travel, accommodations, or other significant expenses.

Subscriptions & Memberships
If an UMA offering is provided through a recurring subscription or membership, your payment method will be charged according to the billing schedule disclosed when you subscribe. You may cancel future renewals according to the cancellation process provided for that subscription. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not ordinarily provide a refund for a billing period that has already begun, except where required by law or otherwise stated at purchase.

Payment Plans
When a payment plan is offered, it represents a commitment to pay the full price of the program or service and is not a month-to-month membership unless expressly stated otherwise. Choosing a payment plan does not make individual installments refundable or allow the remaining payments to be cancelled simply because a participant chooses not to complete the program. Any different terms stated in an individual agreement or at the time of purchase will control.

Changes or Cancellations by UMA
Occasionally, UMA may need to reschedule, modify, postpone, or cancel an offering due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control or when necessary to provide the experience responsibly. If UMA cancels an offering and does not provide a reasonable alternative, participants will generally receive a refund or credit for the portion of the offering that UMA was unable to provide, as appropriate to the circumstances. UMA is not responsible for incidental expenses incurred by participants, including travel, accommodations, transportation, childcare, or other personal expenses, except where required by law.

Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that pregnancy, birth, postpartum, family life, illness, and unexpected circumstances can sometimes require plans to change. While our policies are necessary because of the commitments involved in providing our offerings, we encourage you to contact us when exceptional circumstances arise. Any accommodation, credit, transfer, or exception is considered individually and remains at UMA’s discretion unless otherwise required by law.

How to Request a Cancellation or Change
To request a cancellation, reschedule, transfer, or other change, please contact UMA using the contact information provided on our website. Please include your name, the offering you purchased, and the email address associated with your registration.

Agreement to This Policy
By completing a purchase or registration with UMA, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy, together with any additional terms presented for the specific offering you purchase.
